Field Practical Training

In order to contribute to Tanzania education system’s overall goal, to supports the development of strong foundational skills and complete quality education, NARCO provides opportunities to primary schools, secondary, college, universities, colleges and pupils and students to gain practical skills and to carry out routine modern and commercial livestock operations in the field.

Field Practical Training enable students to appreciate, comprehend and perform various activities including livestock production, processing, packaging and marketing, breeding, disease control, pasture and pasture seeds production, packaging and marketing, livestock fattening, artificial insemination and commercial local chicken production and marketing.

The assessment of the field practical training is made by a Ranch Manager or any other Senior Officer. Special emphasis is paid to attitude and commitment of the students and puplis to perform field practices.
